Cleaning and Maintenance
How do I maintain and clean my concrete floor?
Clean your newly polished concrete floor with a neutral pH cleaner. Use a cleaner that’s too high or low in pH, and you’ll reduce the gloss prematurely while risking damage to the finish. The cleaning frequency depends on traffic. Apply a sealer to protect against staining (we can do this for you). Be sure to match the sealer with the type of staining most likely to occur, i.e. penetrating or reactive staining.
To keep a polished concrete floor at an optimal level of gloss, dust mop it regularly. Use a wet mop with pH neutral cleaner as needed. For large areas, use an automatic scrubber with a non-abrasive pad.
